What axe skills do you use for basic ownage?
What skills do you guys use in combo with eachother that works well? I know swords have like gash, sever artery , final slash or something.
Do you use cleave or evicerate? What do you guys use?
thanks, reasons on why would be greatly appreciated from you axe masters

disrupting chop for interrupts and cyclone axe for the adrenaline (I am not a pure warrior... or pure anything for that matter).
Not fond of pure condition/damage builds using eviscerate, penetrating blow, and executioner's strike.

What i use is battle rage for fast adrenalin, then penetrating and exectutiors strike, and for more adrenalin use cyclone axe... it's really good for mobs and kills pretty quickly.

I dont see much love for cleave. Granted eviscerate is a better skill. If you are not trying to drop a condition on something ( because they will give it back to you) I go cyclone, cleave, penetrate, executioners. Constant damage. Cleave cycles through quickly. Usually however I carry disrupting chop because to me it is the most useful axe skill. With it, you can kill almost anything. One good disrupt and then a couple of axe spikes is certain doom to most things. Have you ever wailed on a monk boss for 10 minutes? One good disrupt, blam, died in a minute flat. You do need to have to practice disrupting chop and learn to watch your enemies skill patterns. This is a skill that takes skill to apply properly.
My preferred axe builds - PVE
cyclone
penetrate
disrupt
cleave
or
cyclone
disrupt
eviscerate
executioners

Looks like we all are on the same page -- eviscerate and executioners here too. I sometimes add in cyclone for energy.
It's either a no-brainer (at least with the main skills) or we're all wrong, grin.

Eviscerate, Axe Rake, Executioners in my random build. Would run Evisc, Executioners, then Penetrating outside of there.
PvE = Cleave, mostly, but I'm transitioning to eviscerate.

Evicerate+Executioner's in general.
In PvE, when I might bring a defenseive elite, I always bring Dismember, unless I don't plan to fight. Deep Wound is just that nasty.

W/R:
Strength: 11 (9+2, helm+minor rune)
Axe: 12 (9+3, sup axe)
Tactics: 11 (10+1, minor rune)
Beast Mastery: 8
Zealous Axe
Crimson Carapice Shield
Warrior's Cunning
Tiger's Fury
Cleave
Penetrating Blow
Executioner's Strike
Disrupting Chop
Power Attack
Healing Sig
That's my personal favorite axe spiker setup for PVE ... I can keep it up almost endlessly. I don't use Eviscerate because I haven't bothered capping Eviscerate yet... I'd switch to a more conditional build if I had it, probably using dolyak sig, desperation blow, or axe rake/twist, something like that.

Nice axe warriors Ftw!!
Well i dont really put much into tactics, i think i put 8 in there just so i get 107 health points!
Dump everything into Axe and Strength. At an 8 tactics you get 107 health from signet,9 secs bonetties,9 secs watch ur self, 9 secs charge, but with 11 or higher in strength you will get 12+ secs for sprint> unless you like to use stances then dump more into tactics! Dont really care much for tactics but thats just me~~~~~!!!!
Axes FTW~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd tack on a Swift Chop at the end of that combo.
But yeah, those 2 hits alone do more damage than about 80% of the combos out there in the game right now. [in just 2 swings]
